THE PARALLEL HYBRID SYSTEM

Reduced emissions and increased efficiency

CNA Yachts uses a Transfluid parallel hybrid system combining a diesel combustion engine
with electric motors that can also act as generators.
In electric mode the ship sails quietly and emission-free using power previously stored in her
batteries, that would otherwise have gone wasted.
In recharge mode, the electric engines act as generators while increasing the load on the diesel
engine at intermediate ranges, thus making the combustion cleaner and more efficient.
When we refer to CNA Yachts, we refer to green transportation.
